Watford Football Club would like to announce the managerial changes made at the club . Malky Mackay has been relieved of his duties as manager after mutual consent was agreed between both parties, and we have hired Former Player Josh Thomas the new manager of Watford Football Club.

Josh Thomas spoke of his pride about joining his former club " i am so happy about joing my old club, the fans are superb and i look forward to working with all of the players.

With a lot of financial insecurity at the club josh will have to look at some loan signings.

In what was a good game at vicarge road doncaster got lucky and pulled off an unlucky draw.
Watford started off well with danny graham getting them off to a great start with a goal after 13 mins. straight after the break nacer barazite on loan from arsenal made it 2 by netting his first goal for the club with a great half volley.

Doncaster then stepped up a gear and pulled one back with a great well worked team goal finshed by paul heffernan. and then with watford coasting to victory they were caught by a long ball over the top finshed by coppinger with the last kick.

danny graham netted the only goal on 32 minuteswith a well place effort after great play by nacer barazite.

throughout the game watford missed numerous chances whilst keeping brentford down to 2 shots.
 
Barazite is class - got him in on loan for Newcastle once, got a hatful of assists. Nice start.

watford gained a good point on a fine tuesday evening at vicarage road, in what was a very good game of football both teams cancelled each other out in many areas of the pitch.

danny graham pulled watford in front on the 39th minute after a well crafted move between jure travner and jonathan cristaldo.
but watford were stopped in there tracks on the 67th minute by a goal from joe garner. after paul mckenna won the ball he slipped it into joe garner who finshed it neatly.

experienced striker heidar helguson currently on loan from Q.P.R scored his first goal with a nice finsh in the 31st minute. striker jonathan cristaldo then scored a superb goal with a great curling effort on 42 mins. cristaldo then doubled his tally with a nice move with the last kick off the half.

stkier paul dickov then coverted carlsile only shot on target with a well placed header.
on the 71st minute crsitaldo then completed a quality hat-trick with a real poacher's effort.

Thomas said after the game " jonathan was amazin today and scored a great hat-trick, hopefully we get a favourable draw in the next round."

watford took the lead on 55 when tom cleverley netted his first for watford with a well placed shot. then another loanee henri lansbury opened his account by finshing of a well worked move which barnsley clamied was offside.
iain hume then scored a header form close range following a mistake by henri lansbury.then in the last minute watford got a penalty which graham hit right at the keeper.

Watford scored an unlikely victory away at plymouth today a great substiton by josh thomas in the 82nd minute helped his team with sub danny graham netting the winner,

enthuastic midifleder Tom Cleverley netted watford first with a well placed shot after 16 mins. controversy followed when carl duguid had a penalty shout turned down which looked like a dive.

in the 76 mins kenny cooper scored a magnifecent goal for plymouth from all but 30 yards out. but with time running out jure travner played a delightful ball over the top of argyles defence and danny graham headed it in.

Barazite suffers injury

During Watfords last game against ipswich in the carling cup nacer barazite suffered a serious injury by fracturing his arm. watfords management and staff have taken the decision to send nacer back to arseanl so they can treat his injury a lot better than watford with a view to him returning when he is fit again.

Nacer said " i am dissapointed about the injury i was really enjoying my time here at watford and i will hope that when i am back fit i will be able to return to this great club. "

Watford were forced into 5 changes in there match aginst reading becuase of international call ups, suspension of muamba and injuries. nevertheless thomas called up 4 players from the youth team and otshudi from the reserve team. but the young side thomas fielded managed to gain a good point at the madjeski stadium.

jonathan cristaldo opened the scoring mid way through the first half with a well placed shot straight passed adam federeci. goalkeeper scott loach suffered the agony of putting the ball in his own net in the 56th minute to deny watford the win.

Watford taught coventry a footballing lesson at vicarage road on a fine tuesday evening.

the first incident of note was in the 27th minute when onur kaya was denied claims for a penalty. watford finally took the lead when lloyd doyley finally netted a goal for watford after a ten year wait at the club in the 71st minute with a great header from a corner everyone looked delighted for lloyd. then jonathan cristaldo doubled watfords lead with his 2nd in two games witha powerful effort. then ezquerro grabbed a consolation for coventry in the 83rd minute with a shot from 18 yards.

Josh Thomas said After " im so happy for lloyd, he has waited a long time, he had some good banter with the lads this season about whether he will ever score, hes just won £5 of me, im still happy for him."

Watford completely outclassed cardiff on this saturday afternoon at vicarage road with heidar helguson on song.
Midfielder Don Cowie scored a great goal after 18 mins after he seized on an error by tony capaldi. cardiff's captain mark hudson then equalised on 28 with a good header from six yards out. young youth prospect matthew whichelow then put watford in front by blasting the ball in the top corner after 57 mins.

Jure Travner then scored from the penalty spot after mark hudson commited a foul in the box.
enthuastic striker kelvin etuhu then scored a goal that made it 3-2 after 76 mins with a good close range header.
but then the man of the match helguson then scored to put the game beyond doubt with a close range header.

The sky sports gillette soccer saturday crew said " watford played superb today and could really challenge for the play off positions."

Thomas said " it was a good performance and hopefully htis form can keep it going."

watford gained a good point at the riverside on saturday, the waterford fans left heppy following the long trip north and praised manager josh thomas' setup.

Watford finally took the lead when a well crafted move finshed up at jonathan cristaldo's feet and he buried in the top corner.
but then in front off a crowd of 22,712, scott mcdonald sent them into raptures after scoring a placed shot in the 80th minute .

josh thomas said after the game " it was a good perfomance by the lads were a bit dissapointed by the draw but its a good point against a really good middlesborough team"

lloyd doyley battles on despite watford being 3-0 down and gets another goal.

Watford went down battling after being 3-0 down, but were left dissapointed at the end of the day losing 3-2 in the end.

daryl murphy got watford of to a flyer with a placed shot after 1 minute. murphy then had no trouble in scoring from the spot after jure travner had been penalised for a foul. an error from don cowie then allowed murphy to finish his hat-trick with a powerful effort just before half time.

after half time watford looked like a diffrent team. straight after the break heidar helguson pulled one back with a well executed finsh following good play by the watford midfield, lloyd doyley managed to get another back on 82 with a fine header direct from a corner.

thomas said " i was impressed with the spirit but its dissapointing to not get something, but the whole team wats to bounce back.

watford finally took the lead right before the half time whistle with a well worked move slipping the ball into jonathan ccristaldo who finished it well.
cristaldo completed the scoring on 63 minutes witha well place header following good play between jon harley and henri lansbury.

That Was Cristaldo's 10th Goal Of The Season.
