Potential Staff:

Squad

Goalkeepers:
1st Choice: Steve Harper - Although he is aging, it would be wise to rotate him with Tim Krul who can become the Newcastle number 1 for many years to come.
Key Players:
Other: Tim Krul
Deadwood: Rob Elliot, Ole Soderburg

Positional Rating: 7/10 - With two very good young keepers in the game, I feel that this is one of Newcaslte's strongest positions.

Right Backs:
1st Choice: Danny Simpson - A solid defender who can still grow a do a good job for the club
Key Players:
Other: Ryan Taylor, Davide Santon
Deadwood:

Positional Rating: 8/10 - With ample cover and a youngster in Santon who has potential to become one of the best right backs in the game.

Centre Backs:
1st Choice: Coloccini - Captain fantastic, a solid defender often coverted by large team like Man City, although his high wage bill is something to think about.
Key Players: Steven Taylor
Other: Mike Williamson, Tamas Kadar
Deadwood:

Positional Rating: 7/10 - Three solid defenders, might be worth while getting another older player to act as cover to all Kadar to be send out on loan.

Left Backs:
1st Choice: Santon - One of the only players who might be able to do a decent job in an accomplished postion for him.
Key Players:
Other: Tamas Kadar
Deadwood:

Positional Rating: 1/10 - With no natural left back at the club, this is the one position that needs a new player brought in, with only Santon having this position as accomplished

Right Wingers:
1st Choice: Gabriel Obertan - A player who is explosive who has the ability to turn games around, will need training to become a MR
Key Players:
Other: Jonas Guiterrez, Hatem Ben Arfa
Deadwood:

Positional Rating: 5/10 - There is plenty of cover for this position, but stats wise they are not the best.

Defensive Midfielders:
1st Choice: Cheike Tiote - A solid player who can play in either CM or DM.
Key Players:
Other: Dan Gosling
Deadwood: James Perch

Positional Rating: 5/10 - Tiote is a fantastic DM, but with little cover, I'd suggest not using a DM

Central Midfielders:
1st Choice: Yohan Cabaye - Your playmaker, he will be a key member of your engine room.
Key Players: Cheike Tiote
Other: Dan Gosling, Danny Guthrie, Mehdi Abeid
Deadwood: Alan Smith

Positional Rating: 8/10 - Depending on how the players perform for you, this area of the pitch has plenty of players and does not need to be improved.

Attacking Midfielders:
1st Choice: Hatem Ben Arfa - One of the best players in the team, creative and can turn a game around.
Key Players:
Other: Sylvain Marveaux, Haris Vuckic, Mehdi Abeid
Deadwood:

Positional Rating: 6/10 - I'd recommend only using Ben Arfa in the AM role, but with Abeid and Vuckic you have two great talents as well.

Left Wingers:
1st Choice: Jonas Guitierrez - A player with the pace and dribble to scare any defense.
Key Players:
Other: Sylvain Marveaux, Shane Ferguson
Deadwood:

Positional Rating: 6/10 - Ferguson needs to go out on loan, but you have cover with Obertan being able to play on the left as well.

Strikers:
1st Choice: Demba Ba - A good striker who can play in several different roles up front.
Key Players: Leon Best
Other: Shola Ameobi, Peter Lovenkrands
Deadwood: Nile Ranger

Positional Rating: 6/10 - Plenty of cover up front, but no goal scoring strikers.

Away on Loan:

Fraser Forster - Celtic
Kazenga LauLau - Brighton
Xisco - Deportivo

Injuries:
Ryan Taylor - Groin Strain - Expected to be out 4 weeks to 7weeks.
Danny Guthrie - Pulled Hamstring - Expected to be out 6 weeks and 2 months.
Hatem Ben Arfa - Damiged Achilles Tendon - Expected to be out for 3 to 4 months.
Alan Smith - Broken Ankle - Expected to be out for 3 to 7 weeks.
Shane Ferguson - Damaged Knee Cap - Expected to be out for between 5 weeks and 2 months.

Hot Prospects:

Adam Campbell - http://i1143.photobucket.com/albums/...ars/G8star.png
At only 16 he has time but unless he is given a hard training along with having good tutors, its unlikely he'll make it far at the club

Haris Vuckic - http://i1143.photobucket.com/albums/...ars/G8star.png
Given the right training and guidence by a mentor Vuckic will become a world beater

Mehdi Abeid - http://i1143.photobucket.com/albums/...ars/G7star.png
Given the right training and guidence by a mentor Abeid will become a classy player

Davide Santon - http://i1143.photobucket.com/albums/...ars/G9star.png
Will need lots of training and possibly a mentor to help him reach his potential

Weaknesses:

Potential Signings:
Left Backs:
Wayne Bridge - Loan or transfer £1.8M
Gael Givet - £2.5m and 1.5m over 12 months

Strikers:
Daniel Sturridge - loan, 50% wages

Best Formations

Additional Comments
The best club in the World, they have had a fantastic start to the season under Manager Alan Pardew's watch, can you do better, can you take the club to even higher heights, and can you bring back a trophy something the fans are crying out for. A good squad of players that just needs a few addition players to boost it. Howay the Lads!
