Player fines due to poor performance

Can anyone help. I've been playing fm for a number of years now and never been so frustrated at the amount of poor performances. I've never fined a player before for poor performances before and was wondering if it's the same as giving a player a fine for dismissal ie 1st warning 2nd 1 week fine and so on. Cheers.

I don't normally fine them. I have a private chat first, calm at first then assertive. If no joy after a few games, I place them in reserves. But that was FM 11. Not had a real reason to do anything further than a private chat telling them to buck their ideas up so far, due to having excellent season. Lucky so far


(and also because I'm just incredibly gifted and just pwn the opposition of course)
