CB Ratings

I’m sure I’m not the first person to bring this up but is there a reason why CBs tend to have low ratings each match (unless they score or bag an assist)?

My team could be winning with one or no goals conceded and my CBs are bagging 6.3-6.5 ratings. It doesn’t really make sense especially when they have defended well.

Any thoughts?

It's hard to answer, i dont have that difficulty, CB doesnt get super rating unless they score but they arent that bad. You say they defend well? How many goals oyu conceed from corners? They dont get beaten often on counter attacks?
