Hello all,
I am writing this short post to address the issues surrounding attaching images to a post which you make. Many have found that it causes them to appear as attached thumbnails or images, which can annoy the writer and/or the reader. My solution to this is, firstly, not foolproof, and secondly I'm not sure if it will work for all.
The solution:
My solution for this issue is to attach all of your images the normal way into your post. Once you've completed it, make sure you save all of your work so that you don't lose it, and then close off the tab. Then, when re-opened your images will be in the post and likely enlarged from their original attachment size which doesn't matter, and the website does not longer register them as currently attached.
The images do still appear on the post and shouldn't appear under the attached thumbnails or images section. For evidence, you can check my own FM Story as Hull City, where I only recently discovered the solution and have used it on my last post, although I forgot to do it with the last image, however the rest don't appear at the bottom but do appear in the post (unless that's only on my laptop but I don't think so and I hope not).
Hope this helps anyone who needs it! Thanks.
