Help needed

So I've started out with AFC Bournemouth as them being the team I support it makes sense.

My home formation is 4-1-2-3 (DM WIDE)
My away formation is 4-1-4-1 (DM).

I am predicted to finish 20th but hoping with a bit of help that might change.

I'd be grateful if someone/anyone could give me some advice on what mentality/team shape/team instruction & Position/role/duty to use.

Do the guides not help you in that regard? You've given absolutely no info at all, so we cannot help. If you at least laid out a vision of how you wanted to play and what you've done to implement that, that would've been a start.
