ever since i have started playing football manager, i never make a profit in the monthly report. i usually lose about 3-4 million pounds per month can anybody explain why, or even so if they do make profits what do they do to do this? (A)

Well if you ever do monthly installments when signing players then that all adds up to the months.
Player & staff wages tend to do a lot of damages to your finances.

Profits can be made through TV revenue, Merchandise (Especially if your club plays abroad, which expands your fan base), Tickets sold, Competition bonuses.

I don't know much else since I rarely ever go in to debt since I keep a close eye on my finances and make sure i have enough coming in to cover the amount going out.

This is the case for most top tier clubs. As long as your transfer spending is reasonable, you should make up for the month to month losses with year end prize money and TV revenue from the Champions League.
