I am not a proponent of using the editor but in this story it was necessary. I added a Steam Workshop created wonderkid by the name of Johan Cruyff to Ajax Amsterdam as a 16 year old in memory of the creator of Total Football and one of the greatest football players and minds of all time.

The story starts with a 16 year old Johan Cruyff playing on the U-19 team for Ajax Amsterdam. On October 1, 2015 in a Euro Cup game vs FC Steaua due to injuries to Schone, Cerny and El Ghazi, Cruyff was called up to start as a right side winger in a 4-3-3 formation. The game was in front of a home team crowd of 50,905 with the home crowd getting their first viewing of the 16 year old wonderkid.
The match was a tight hard tackling affair and at the 27th minute a shot on target that keeper Heinz Muller could not hold on to, bounced to his left and was pounced on by the young Cruyff as he swiftly went on to score his first goal for the first team. It was the only goal in a 1-0 win.
Cruyff stayed with the first team until early December getting 3 more starts while covering for injured players. On October 28th versus Rinjsburgse Boys in a Dutch Cup game he once again scored the only goal in a 1-0 win and on November 29th he started in his first league match versus PC Zwolle that saw Cruyff and Milik put Ajax up 2-0 only to have the team totally lose focus, being yellow carded 6 times in a 2-4 loss.
Those would be the only three goals he would score for Ajax while starting 5 league games and making 8 appearance overall as the team won the Eredivise title but failed in the Euro and Dutch Cups. Cruyff was called back up to the first team when the League Title was not in question but an injury in a game versus FC Utrecht limited his playing time.
The 2016/17 season saw Cruyff back with the U-19 getting the playing time he needed for his development but he was ready for any opportunity that injuries would present. That opportunity did not take long to present itself. On September 10th Cruyff started in a 2-0 win over Willem II where he scored both goals on long range shots with deadly accuracy. Cruyff's ability to find open space with leading passes or his ability to find open space anywhere on the field showed his ability to become a dominant player leading Ajax back to the glory days of past.
While Cruyff spent the majority of the season playing U-19 ball he did manage to see action in 11 games starting 8 for the big club. He started 5 league games for the second year in a row but his development shined through as he scored 6 league goals in those 5 starts picking up 2 POM. He finished with 7 goals for the big club in his 11 appearances.
Ajax Amsterdam reclaimed their title as the dominant club in the Netherlands with a dominating 83 point season seeing them go 25-8-1 while winning the Dutch Super Cup and the Dutch Cup. Ajax performance in the Champions League was not unnoticed as they made the Quarter Finals losing to a powerful FC Barcelona club 2-3 and 1-2.
