FM-BASE £800.000.000 Challenge

Chose to play with this mod while starting in December of 2013. I wanted the few months before EPL started so I could make some key signings. My signings are below. Paid some major money for Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshire! You can bet your bottom dollar they're my star midfielders XD Even got Victor Valdes on a free transfer, lucky me! Let's see how well he still is. I tried to get Xherdan Shaqiri, but he didn't want to come to FM-Base. Of course, I tried to get Neymar and Lionel Messi, but they didn't want to leave Barcelona.

Anybody have any other suggestions for signings, specifically defenders?
 
seeing as how you have raided athletic for iker muniain try scouting aymeric laporte and xiker in the b team for centre backs, laporte is knocking on the french 1st team door and xiker is getting epic in my athletic game 3rd season in

Going after both players and got 'em, albeit got Laporte with a release clause of $59M after I shelled out $100M for Mario Gotze (FINALLY!)

I've just finished putting together my team, there's a big Premier League theme running through it, so hopefully gelling is made somewhat easier, at least by most of them being able to speak English. That's my first team, some players (namely Xavi) I just got for the sake of having him.

Altogether I've spent £528,000,000 - would've been more in Marcelo had accepted me. Not happy with my left back..

i agree with having xavi in my athletic game i couldnt sign him due to not being basque but when he retired i snapped him up as an under 19s coach straight away so hopefullt he can impart his knowledge on the next gen of basque midfield maestros
 
I'm starting this now. I'm curious though, will you be making a 50.000.000 challenge (or something similar) this year as well?
I really enjoyed that one, tried over and over to get a squad which I felt good about.
 
Here are my signings. I've always played FM with a focus on young players, with Ochoa being the oldest at 28 years old. Out of my 28 signings, 11 are English as I feel that have a native core is very important. I have two sets of twins at the club, Lars and Sven, Jacob and Josh (since Man Utd signed Fabio and Rafael, I've always liked the idea if having twins in my FM teams). I also have John Stones coming in June due to him being out through the transfer window. I've also paid £59M in agents fees and £54M in signing fees, which is insane. Let me know what you think.

Benzema has been disappointing for me so far. He's gotten me to the point where I start Rooney and Gotze at striker and I play Volland/Munain on wing in a 4-2-2-2 formation. Balanta has been absolutely amazing. On another note, I've finally been able to take Neymar from Barcelona for $265M. Gave him a minimum $1.6B release clause. With that, I'm most likely going to sell Benzema.
 
Would it be possible to have it so you dont have so much money? I loved last years challenge of 50 million and i think 800 million would be too easy.

Hello, is this possible to play in 2 players? id like to play with my room mate on 1 pc as fm-base team1 and fm-base team2.
 
Trust me, you need at least 500 million to get a team capable of surviving in the premier league. you need yo get a squad of at least 20 players and hire a full coaching staff
 
am nearly finished the first season and never had a FA Cup match?
