Hello all, firstly would like to say i am extremely new to computer specs. Generally speaking i just had very basic laptops however i was looking into building a desktop for myself. Sadly i know next to nothing regarding specs so i was wondering if any of you more experienced guys would be able to help.

I don't know if this is the correct place to ask this but could one of you guys whip something together under the below criteria, any help would be appreciated:

- No more than £500
- Needs Monitor, keyboard, mouse etc
- Can play games to an acceptable standard (dont need anything that can play GTA to the extreme, even i know that isnt possible with my budget)
- Doesn't need to look fancy (i dont really care what it looks like as long as it works)

Honestly that is generally it. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.

If this could be done on https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/ please

Thanks in advanced

Not going to lie.. with mouse, keyboard, etc it would be tough.

The above doesn't have a dedicated graphics card but AMD's integrated graphics are better than Intel and usually some of the best.

Far Cry 3 with the above APU: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDsTw6c1XI4

Couldn't find a way to give you the link directly... but ask around if you want more quotes, it's quite difficult on that budget, I'm not sure if you will be able to play most games on medium/low but for FM this will be great.

To enter that into the build field **** go here and change the menus: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/view/Fusion-450-gaming-pc/

Hi, you can get a PC better than the APU below here:
AMD FX 6300 4.1Ghz 1tb 8gb 1600Mhz GTX 750TI 2gb Core Computer Gaming PC - AMD Gaming Evolved Computers - Pre Built Custom Computers

This is £370 and will play GTA 5 at high settings at 1080p 60fps.

Asus VS228DE 21.5 inch Widescreen 1080p Full HD LED Monitor (1920x1080, 5ms, VGA): Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories

This is a 1080p monitor with a 60ms refresh rate

https://www.g2a.com/microsoft-windows-8-1-professional-32-64-bit-oem-cd-key-global.html

A cheap genuine OS key can be bought from g2a for only 16 quid.

This brings the total to £466.

To cap off, that leaves plenty in the kitty for a mouse and keyboard.
A gaming mouse and keyboard can be bought here for £34.99:
Cooler Master CM Storm Devastator - Full-Size Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo Bundle, Blue LED Backlit: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories

Or, for a more professional, ergonomically looking one, buy this for £19.99:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Wi...1432566737&sr=8-6&keywords=Mouse+and+keyboard

That should leave a bit left over in the kitty. Happy buying!

I only manage maxed out GTA 5 on a GTX 970 + i5-4690k... You will perhaps get 30FPS maxed out with that PC. But medium.. you will be fine.

That PC is significantly better than the one I proposed... I wouldn't advise you use PC Specialist either, they inflate the cost of every component they have.

P.S That PC does not come with an OS so you will have to splash out an additional £80 on Windows, or you could use Ubuntu - which I don't recommend for someone not tech savvy. I only use Ubuntu for programming on a 2nd partition.
