Worst transfer flops

I outbid ManCity, Real, Bayern and Al Ittihad in an attempt to sign free agent Frankie De Jong. He absolutely refused to accept a contract any longer than a year, so I was quite proud to sneak a one year extension after 10 games played in.

After nine games, dude suffers spinal damage after "committing to a bad challenge" in training - and drops out for exactly 11 months.

I'm paying that dude 700k. A week.

That's bad luck, funny that in the first FM lauched in the 90's there was an insurance that we could add to player contracts for this reasons, wierd that they removid it and never brought it back.
