Nice tactic Wibe.
I am glad there is finally a realistic tactic that actually has a back four and a number 10!
Currently in my first season as Benfica, only lost one game in the league (in December) and won my CL group that had Liverpool, PSG and Feyernoord.
The tweak tactic doesn't work...
@uekte I think the update has broken the tactic. Very frustrating if you have set your team and squad up for this kind of style. Same thing happened in my Crystal Palacw save. Try this one from FM Scout. Very similiar and is still working well...
Yeah, it does leak a lot. I think it suits underdog teams more than top sides. I have signed Scott Sinclair for Palace. Play him on the right side of the front three(I had to sell Zaha) and he is performing to a ridiculous level. He scored 13 goals in his first 8 games for me!
I am suprised this tactic hasn't had more attention. In my Crystal Palace save, first season with V2, massively overachieved and finished 5th. Second season won The Europa League and finished 2nd. Third season won the prem. Benteke was top scorer for all 3 seasons in a row. If you have pacey...
I haven't tried the tactic yet, but I am interested by it. The only thing I would say is in the OP you say not to leave opp instructions to your Assistant. So Skeletor what are the opposition instructions mate? Sorry if I missed them but if we cant leave them to our assistants do you have a set...
Anybody who is having trouble with the SS role, I found training a Striker for the position can help. They need some midfield type attributes, such as decent passing. I find that works better than a player who is a traditional playmaker type.
Also, I would agree with the above poster about counter attacking. Probably 60% of my goals for Bayern came from counter attacks, and its not even much of a pacey side.
Have to say I am really enjoying this tactic. I am using it on my first FM18 save. Won the treble in the first season. BL, German Cup and Champions League. I am Bayern admittedly. The SS position isnt even too bad for me, Muller is pretty consistent. To be fair I tried James Rodriguez there once...
I decided to give this tactic a go on a new Everton save. I use the Dline tweak. Train Attacking movement for home games and Def. Positioning for away.
Got to say the tactic is working great for me. Baines and Coleman are beast in the wing positions, and I currently sit 2nd in the league in...
