this is my 1st game..my display is standard vga sistem...is it affect?

amd athlon (tm) 64 x2 dual core processor 4400+ 2.30 ghz ram - 2gb

it says that fm2012 is already running..but i can't play..when i see task manager, fm.exe is running..but im not playing the game..can someone help?
