perhaps the payments were spread over 48 months? Only suggestion I can come up with

Firstly I have played this game since it was released, and this has only started recently (no changes have been made to the computer). When playing, the game automatically disappears, and all I am left with is the loading icon (spinning ball), and a small black rectangular box on the top right...
