i seemed to struggle defensively with flat midfield too, after tweaking few things i decided to go with high defense line and offside trap. This way there is not much gap between the defense and the midfield and i concede very few goals. You need pacey defenders for that to work :D

I got carried away in that game sorry. Do you think AI defends bettter than me? I like dropping deep to sweep through balls, hardly try offside trap as i believe its too risky. And also how can I improve? is there certain things that you want or dont want me to do?
i did a similar thing with essien. I trained him to play as full back (right) which he learned in 3 weeks and he has been playin as a full back for my Chelsea team for quite a while now
