What i mean is shortening the time and space needed for your player to close in the opposition player. The faster they harass the them the bigger the chance of a bad pass or getting the ball from them.
With my tactics i play very high exactly for that purpose, but it depends on the opposition...
It's just you, and a million other people. :P
I think you are on the right track to seek control of the tempo/flow, a couple of tips:
- get your players to close in faster during defending to force the opposition to lose the ball and not giving them so many chances to construct play chances...
I have encountered this bug before in the player instructions:
If you tick a box to later untick it, the settings themselves will not change. To change them to default i have to tick the box, change to something else, untick and the default setting should read in greydout.
I noticed first...
Is this in the Premier league with Man U? Fergie Association rules. :P
But seriously, it happens to me when there are substitutions or injuries in after the stoppage time was set, which i personally find realistic :)
Also the ref is not ending the match during set pieces and attacks, again i...
Played 1 match yesterday after updating and i have to say that i am not impressed. In fact i have seen more strange stuff yesterday than in the 2 prior weeks:
- player carrying the ball like it was an egg from the goal line to past the midfield line for IFK, just like in 12
- physio not getting...
I do this as well.
Also even if they play well but don't win i will give them the hairdryer because i want them to "want more"
Other think is i NEVER tell them they have "played well"; if they win i just say "good win" (i do this since 12), not sure if it actually makes a difference but i have...
Any match your team is leading will force the opposition AI to change tactics and make substitutions.
You should keep an eye on any of those changes and react accordingly and promptly, with tactics and opposition instructions.

I wont lie to you, in my first save with FM13 i did replayed a lot of matches to figure out what was going on, but the purpose of the game is progress, building a team or club up to the top so in normal circumstances i like to take whatever result i get, learn from the experience and move on...
I don't know if it is cheating or not but isn't it really boring to play the same match 10 times until you get lucky? And how long does it take to get trough a season? :)
