Just had a brilliant season with Arsenal. (Very strong squad) I made an aggressive tweak to the tactic, in order to achieve more goals, especially at home. I think I've succeeded in that:
I've found a great tweak for away games.
STCR man mark opponents left back (or wing back)
STCL man mark opponents right back (or wing back)
STC man mark opponent midfielder (DM > CM)
Change mentality from attacking to control.
The tactic are still great going forward, but you also nullify...
No OIs are needed, but if you are having problems with a lot of crosses you can put tight marking always on wingers, wingbacks and fullbacks.
Freekicks are just your best taker, and no specific training is needed - but I would advise you to train your players in the roles they are playing.
You can try changing the DLP(S) to a DLP(D) and drop the wingbacks down to fullbacks. That should tighten the team up a bit, but it would of course have a negative effect on the attacking output.
Glad to hear that you like the attacking part. It is an aggressive setup afterall. :)
I'm not sure it's better. Demolisher is probably more stable, but this can achieve great things against lesser opponents. Just look at the average ratings of the players. They are excellent.
He isn't suited to the AMC position, so almost all of his 'training points' was spent on getting him familiar with that position. So his stats didn't really change.
