Is it possible to allow Wellington Phoenix entry into the ACL? if so, how

For some reason I find it incredibly difficult to win any game no matter which team or tactic I play with, however when I go on holiday for a day my assistant seems to be able to win everything in sight :(

I was wondering if there was a way to delete ALL the players in the game, I can't find a way but thats probably because I'm a complete editing noob...

I will try the 4-2-4 with my Doncaster side, the V2 tactics worked well so hopefully these will be an improvement
