I think you should change the Advanced Player Instructions. This is what I achieved Don't be surprised at the players' names, I just renamed Defoe and the others to Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi etc.

Hmm, there's no fixed formation here :) You must use your general knowledge. You may refer to this http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/f103/a-guide-to-formations-and-tactics-in-fm-t57437.html See what formation the opponent uses and try to counter that. The Backroom Advice is a helpful tool too.

Barcelona enjoys at least 65% possession every match. For your tactic to be called a "replica", that has to be achieved. And of course Xavi has to complete over 100 passes a game, but that is impossible in FM11...
