THE UNITED KINGDOM CHALLENGE
I got the idea for this challenge from "The Patriot Challenge" that I played on FM12, Its pretty much the same except I have changed one or two rules.
The Challenge is too dominate Europe with a team that contains no foreign Influence. Obviously picking a team...
I signed this guy for 4.9mil in my FM-BASE Challenge game, He picked up 5 Young Player of the Month Awards and 1 Player of the Month Award in hes first season.
Played him as a Wing-Back (s)
Most premier league players are already playing at a team with a bigger reputation so they are unlikely to want to move, out of all my signings only two were from premier league teams. I did notice that more players became interested during the January window but it's tough to save money for that.
They was just interested, I've seen a few people on this thread sign these two players.
I bided on the first day maybe that makes a difference.
Also I had already signed 5 players before Doria and 12 players before Balanta that may of made them more interested.
Finished my first season in 13th place, this challenge was allot harder than I first thought it would be. I had a small squad with just 16 players, luckily i managed to avoid any long term injuries over wise I would of been screwed.
Was close to the sack about four times but always manage to...
First Season as Man United
My first season went well, I Finished 5th in the League, Won the FA Cup and got to the Semi Finals of the Champions Cup :)There was a few times during the season where i was at risk off being sacked but I got through it.
