Ive got him going well now. 24 goals in a season, 14 assists using this tactic

I alternate him being upfront by himself or out on the L or R
I have him in 2014 but I can never get him to score more than 10-14 goals a season. He does get a lot of assists but has large patches (10-15) games where he gets low 6's every game. I want to build my team around him but not sure if i'm wasting my time.
