Hi friends,
I'm a San Marino devote and I just bought Fm14, since I was stuck playing FM13 with San Marino up to around 2050 - i really love the job, I must admit. My question is, what tactics are you making use of at club level, (while climbing up to Serie B & Serie A) and what about NT...
Hey there, I just started my 20th Season with San Marino in Serie A! I haven't won the Champions League yet, so i guess i'll keep on trying till I manage!
to reply to you guys - it takes a lot of patience, however i did not modify the tactic that Brobs put on the website, the only change is that i apply a long preseason that lasts 7 weeks and i play as many friendlies as possible to ensure that the tactic is fluid quickly. I often start off a bit...
I have been using this tactic for my San Marino team, and I managed to win the Serie A this season. These are the results. My only disappointment was losing to Bayern in CL, but I had a lot of injuries.
When viewing these results, one has to keep in mind that I didn't make any big purchases...
I would recommend Brobs' tactic:

I've been using it with a small team like San Marino, and it got my San Marino team to great strides...
Try Brobs' tactic, got me from C1 to Serie A in a couple of seasons with San Marino, and even won the Coppa Italia in my second season in A

try getting a team from BS North/South in UK to EPL! It's harder than San Marino, cos you have to deal with Part time contracts and non contract players, but if its too much go for a League 2 team. Its very rewarding if you manage however!
I'm sorry man. Tactic i was using is this one (http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/football-manager-2013-tactics-training/115509-national-big-underdog-puppy-teams-tactic-13-3-a.html). I am still to start off in Serie B, so I don't know what to tell you. C1A needs a balance of experienced players and...
Dimazz, I am on Season 4 of a San Marino save, and i missed out on promotion in Seasons 1 & 2 by a handful of points, however won C1A in season 3.
Some words of advice to save on the wages, make use of loans from big clubs especially Juve (affiliation exists) and Milan and Inter. From Parma...
i'll be giving it a try with vauxhall, i'm in BS Premier in my second season. I think a tactic is best tested at those levels cos that's where the best coaches show what they've got!!
Will come back with feedback asap!!
i hope i'm understanding this right, if you're offering a 1 year contract, it should be available as one of the options, if the contract is longer than one year, that option will never be available i reckon
i blame my horrible performance using this tactic to the latest update, cos it's not even possible that my team is drowning in 22nd position in the BS Premier, cos it was fantastic in the Blue Square North and its not remotely identifiable unfortunately, it was so good :'(
just a quick update, started the first matches brilliantly, 5 matches (3 wins, 2 draws), then the following four were losses, both home and away, and i was trashed with 4-0 / 5-0 scores
