I try to man to man marking opponent MC, and i use my forward to do it. It really helps a bit. Because it always hard to ask our forward to get involved in our defending efforts.

I would say using 3 defenders won't work and using 5 defenders won't work either. Always use 4 defenders ( 2 wing back and 2 center back ).
