well i wouldn't take a formation too serious, when it was tested in 2031, in fm17 after winning the CL for like 10 years in a row, i could use any formation and it would work due to amazing reputation of my club and players

well I've scouted atletico ingame and most of the time they either play counter/flexible or control/fluid/flexible like this: T - CF S IW A DLP S CM D WM S CWD S CD D BPD D WB S GK D trying to emulate it myself :) and they definitely do not play shorter passing and lower tempo so I wouldnt...

obviously their 442, they've won the league in my game in the first season, you can try and emulate it yourself, just pick a team who plays atletico 1st game in the season and then you should get scout report saying their formation and player roles to have that as a starting point and then watch...

and perhaps it just suited his players more

as i said in my post I went on holiday while testing and i havent set up any ios so i believe it was all run by the assistant manager

not sure what it is but i always encourage my players if im not leading by 20-30min, if i score, i tell them to stay focused or focus on the tactics, and if i need to score i tell them to push forward or demand more or be creative in attack not sure whats the option called exactly

there u go, im guessing with OI's and manhandling each game with shouts it should do even better my assistant had really poor stats like 13-14
