So, they are set as short so I changed the player coming short to someone with good crossing? But all that happens is they get closed down and lose the ball or blast it off the opposition...
I've had to dicth this tactic for now.
So strange towards the end of the season on the Vanarama South we went unbeaten and won the play offs.
Rebuilt the team with slightly better players and being destroyed regularly home and away in the Vanarama National. So weird.

The reason I ask is I'm trying it with Hungerford Town in the Vanarama SOuth and having mixed-to-good results only. Nothing like what you're having.
When you say you've switched to standard for the big guys, do you mean Original or Away version bud? And I'm assuming it's for matches that are expected to lose/draw?
Just had 47 attempt at goal, only 10 on target and scored 1.
Not like my strikers are terrible, playing as Rangers in second season and signed some decent players.
Any tips to combat this? Maybe ask all players with a weak long shot or players who aren't strikers to shoot less often?
