If a player's preferred setting is attack, should it be kept at attack even if say away to Man Utd? I'm wondering if the player's preference should change if the opposition are strong or weak.
I'm wondering if it makes sense to always go with a player's preferred Duty? For example Hamsik has a preferred setting of Defend even though he is an attacking midfielder. Do I really want him set to Defend even at home to a weak team?

Is the beta any good? Well it's different. I'm still adjusting to the new interface. It's still a great footie management game but people don't like change so there's bound to be a lot of negativity. If you are going to buy the game anyway why not try it now? I'm glad I did.
The match engine doesn't look to have improved from FM2012. I was hoping to see more natural movements from the players but looks pretty much the same. I'm also seeing the ball travel through the air in a strange unnatural way, almost like floating balloon than a football. I like the attention...
