What I really hate about this tactic is the insane amount of times my team simply just gives the ball to the opposition, thus giving them the chances on a silver platter.

I just don't get it. I get such horrible results against teams much weaker than me, I barely score, I had a 30-70% possession against hull city with southampton.. :/ I honestly don't understand what's so great about this tactic.

I honestly don't understand what I am doing wrong. I get poor results, extremely low possession percentage, almost no chances, when I do win I barely score, my striker has 2 goals after 5 months. And I am playing with Southampton with Lambert as the striker. I don't understand how people get...
