Yeah I always do this, I have players that were like 25 when I got them and have done so much for me, that I never sell them until they retire (unless they want to be sold)

sorry for late reply, erm I have played Man U for 11 seasons with this tactic, and have stayed as #1 in Europe for most of it. And I have played as Tottenham for 6 seasons with the same tactic becoming #1 in Europe in my 5th season

I have always found 4-2-3-1 with an attacking mentality to be the best tactic, whatever team I am this seems to work the best for me

yeah that would make sense I guess, you wouldn't be the same player for your whole career, you are bound to improve especially considering his age I. Although he never reaches his PA on mine until he is like 26.

yeah it's the same for me, fortunately I can afford to give them the raises they want as long as they are good enough to warrant the raise, so it isn't really a problem for me.

Also if you are a very wealthy club, they do tend to ask for more, I have had players asking me for 50k (I reject) and they sign somewhere else on 30k.
