This is what ticks me off. People defending the atrocious ME have to go as far as 20+ years ago to find a extreme weird piece of football which happens in FM14 on a regular basis. By doing that you're not successfully defending FM14 ME, you're just proving the point that this just isn't right.

I agree to some extent, but I'm 100% sure that the current squad would still be doing a lot better with SAF than with any other manager in the world.

As a lifetime Manchester United fan, I can tell you that partialy, your thoughts were correct. We knew we didn't have a world class team for a couple of years now, the factor that "lifted up" their abilities so strongly was named Sir Alex Ferguson. :)

This is just ridiculous. I can completely understand that every once in a while there will be a game, where a team is attacking most of the game, creating chances, but they just can't convert, and then get a goal from a counter attack (and then hold on to that lead until the end of the game...
