I thought the same as I have used him in ultimate team I got him on FM14 and played him as a striker but not to much success. His finishing stats are way too low for him to be a potent goalscorer in a top league in my opinion.
For me without a doubt if i'm any premiership team or top flight team its Dede from Vasco. Solid CB and if u have him 'challenge keeper' on corners will get u 10+ goals easily a season. Most he got for me was 17.
