Personally, I have been playing as Santa Cruz (Brazilian 3rd tier) used a 4-1-3-2 formation to great success. because of injuries/finance problems had to change to a 4-3-3 and wasn't quite so good. The advice I have is to keep trying different things and try to keep players in natural positions...
