I tried by deleting the update 1430 folder in the installation folder, the game still worked but still said it was 14.3 despite me removing the 'update'. Not sure what the game was using, unless the game was using 14.2.2 but the FM.exe thought it was 14.3. I'm going to have a play with it...

I'd rather they made a game that doesn't need a million patches. They've been making CM/FM for 20 years, thought they would have perfected it by now.

yeah, it was a temp fix whilst I waited for my best AML/AMR to come back to the club. Luckily Villa have a few players who are very flexible on both wings!

more hassle than it's worth, tbh and discovered it's not a bug after all. I fixed the problem myself, completely uninstalled, removed all traces of the game from my hard drive, reinstalled and now it's working properly again. Must have screwed something up updating.
