I like to use control against CL teams at home. Seems to work well. I prefer to attack if I go a goal down too.

Are you tackling hard on the left winger or forward a lot?

Started a new game with Arsenal using this tactic. I've only played a few friendlies so far but the shots/chances for me vs the opposition is far better than any other tactics I've used or made myself.

I'm trying to play 4-2-3-1. I've signed Ba, Anderson, Campagnaro and I've sold/selling Arshavin, Diaby, Chamakh. I'm using control and normal along with a lot of short passing set on the players. This is keeping the ball well for me and I'm really dominating games in that respect but as Wenger...

The biggest problem I have now is that experienced players react completely differently to young players and then you'll get an odd ball who just gets angered when no else does.

Thanks for the help. I'm still lost though. I removed graphics, started a new game with less leagues and a smaller database (4 stars for speed) yet its still giving me alot of trouble. Even bringing up the preferences takes ages.

I had considered some of those so I started a brand new game with a significantly smaller database and it still chugged along. I added a kit pack and I fear that may have been the biggest problem. Shame too because the kits look great.
