If this was the case I would be completely OK with it but it is not. Even though tight marking is not selected, they still press like mindless zombies, going after one player with three. Tight marking is only selected along with close down more for my AMC because I want him to close down...
Without tight marking my team won't press the way Dortmund does. I want my team to press the player with the ball and the other players cover passing channels. It seems I can't do it and even smaller teams can shrug off our pressing and create chances.
