If I am not mistaken they need:
- Tackling
- Concentration
- Determination
- Agression
- Positioning
- Marking
11 or higher on these abilities should show that they are normal / good tacklers, lower than 11 and due to a lack of one or more...

Have 2 CB's placed, then place the one you need for "lurk outside".
Instead of "lurk outside" it will be "attack by deep ball" or something (can't think of the correct name atm) that you tick.
I tried it and it appears to work just as well.
