Yeah I got Thiago for that price too :)
For that position (MC @ AP->Attack), it may depend on my tactic but Pastore doesn't work that well. I think it is because of his low workrate. So try getting someone with a high one.
I had a Croatian regen that I bought for 1M€ and loan him to Valencia and he was second in BBVA top scorers. Sold him for 20M€ next season :)
But yeah I do agree Brasil has the best regens.
Criscito is a beast. All DL are overpriced in the game due to their rarity so €16m for Criscito is a bargain. I bought him for 33m€ and I was happy with it :)
Free :) End of contract and was unhappy because Real Madrid was underperforming (they were at 15th when I aproached him to sign, ended up in 4th or 5th). I just signed him to make money in January or end of season, although he is better than I expected.
EDIT: The only expensive players there...
Marvin Martin!
Had 90M€ to spend and feeling like an billionare I wasted 39M€ on him. Had like 7 average every game. Sold him for 29M€ a season and a half later.
Actually, both didn't worked very well for me!
Chamberlain was promising but he didn't evolved much. Also, his low teamwork coupled with his very weak long shoting made him waste a lot. I also got James Rodriguez for a cheap 6M€ and Walcott was working bonkers for me in the MAD position so I...
Man, it's tactics! There are some tactics that just don't work against others (real life example: Tiki-Taka vs Ultra Defensive). You can't win every game in a season using just one tactic.
My strategy is having two tactics (both at fluid) that, although both of them are similar, they have some...
In my game (Arsenal) he asked for a transfer list (don't remember the reason) and was offered me for 15M€. Lost him to Spurs!!!!!
Just wait till he's unhappy.
Early seasons: Seydou Doumbia or Vagner Love (don't know if you'll be able to get em at that price though, but it ain't much more).
Later seasons: Carlos Fierro & Yaya Sanogo (both are very cheap to get)
