Lung jr, Ochoa and Joe Hart have all been immense for me Lung jr was the only reason i got promoted as qpr he earned me so many 1-0 wins and quite a high number of draws as well.
Rooney is a player to avoid for me, i got him for aston villa about 5 seasons in and every other game a fan managed to distract him from the game by showing him something shiny or asking him to complete a childs placemat puzzle. absolute mong in my opinion.
I find if a big club makes a bid they usually make it negotiable so instead of rejecting the offer i like to say i'll settle on a deal worth something like 100 mil. this makes the other team pull out of the deal and your player usually has no srop in morale and will sign future contracts. :)...
yeh i managed to have the same bug as aannddyy on fm01 except it worked in my favour, my aston villa team beat manchester united 25-0(they had some no mark regen striker in net) rodrigo palacio got 8 in that game

yeh try asmir begovic, you can usually get him on loan to buy if you offer them 900,000.
i just won league 1 with leeds and begovic got best keeper in the league.
i started a new game as Tai Po in the Hong Kong first division, i'm looking for players who will be free, not cost much in the way of wages and will come to me. anyone will do as long as they can improve my current team who seem to be around league 2 standard.
kikin fonseca is a very good player. as is buzsaky from qpr. also try and loan jamie o'hara from tottenham he'll usually come and he plays very well in the championship
you can get him for 2.5 million in the second season, he usually gets transfer listed and for some unknown reason nobody wants him until after you buy him
