Got Darmian at wing back for United but struggling to find either a quality replacement or young back up,what are your thoughts?

Do you change your formation after each season, i often struggle 2nd season after doing well 1st season. Major changes to formations or just little tweaks? Im with Man Utd playing 4-5-1 :S

Is Lallana worth buying? He has some good stats and what would you say his best position is?
