Better than my 433, seems to rely heavily on corners for goals though.

I'm a novice with fm tactics too but i would suggest a really high line with very average defenders is costing you. Also and this is just my personal opinion standing off and attacking philosophies dont really go together, standing off is something i'd associate with counter attacking.

What tweaks do you recommend for southend? Got promoted but second season struggling a bit with this tac and concede on like half of the corners taken against me. Obviously the defensive line i was thinking because my centrebacks arent the quickest..

I bought vorsah who looks to me like hes a perfect candidate to play the cover defender role so ill give it a go.

Yea i thought as much, i dont have any speedy defenders at the moment so i think i may wait and use this tactic again when ive got the defence i want.

So do you leave it on attacking mentality at all points of games? I tend to change if im away to man ity or someone like that so would you recommend leaving it or just changing it depending on opponents?

Is it just me thats conceded tonnes of goals with this formation? Home and away with villa it seems to concede atleast 2 or 3 goals a game and ive conceded in 90+ atleast 6 times and im only half way through the season.

Concedes way too many for my team villa, getting completely outplayed at home by the likes of west brom and blackburn. Back to my own boring tactic i think.

V4 is ridiculous, excellent tactic.

Pires has now been adeed to the default villa squad!

The away tactic is pretty good i changed the centre midfielder to centre midfield attack since theres enough behind him defensively and i change my striker role because i have 3 strikers and they are all very different ad it seems to be working very well won both away games i tested it on Fulham...

^^lol Have you checked the transfer centre to see if its still being negotiated or joining on a certain date?

Noticed a huge difference in the new patch, conceding too many against lesser eams and not scoring many at all overall very different to the previous patched where i never finished outside the top3 with villa :?

Cheers ill try all this, i was thinking about termination but when a players worth a few mill id obviously prefer the extra funds :D
