Some do really struggle with FM tactics and this tactic seems to have helped a lot of players so not a bad thing I did tweak it but its not for me and my managerial philosophy that is obviously based on Brendan Rogers tactics as a Liverpool fan.

This is probably only the second tactic download i have done in 8 years of playing FM.Start to play a little again was interested in a counter attack tactic as never used or built one with any considerable success.

Search board or keep it simple to start 4-4-2 /4-2-3-1/4-1-2-1-2 fit your players.
Always look to a fromation that fits most of your players more important one that fits your star players.
Make sure you do match training also to become fluid.
Keep it simple like a 4-4-2 do not change player settings untill winning with formation make sure your team is fluid in tactic do not sell or buy to meny players at any one time but always buy the best for position when you can,depending on team or your own scouting.
First season buy Eder Alvarez Balanta and Mario Pugliese With the right formation and tactics you can place top 4 and look to second season to re-inforce properly,I some times also buy Aly Cissokho.
Second season sell or terminate all dead wood Reina,Coates,Borini,Luis Alberto,Assaidi,Toure...
I have not changed them they are default as per position so Glen Johnson is wingback but have trained his preferred move as gets forward whenever possible.Other players slot in with same instrustions as per position no other tweaks.

I am also trying to perfect this BR 4-4-2 diamond plays a high tempo fluid attack with a high defensive line I have Coutinho as APA even though Sterling has been playing there of late Suarez as TQ and Sturridge as Poacher.

I missed FM 12 because of the install steam bug steam updating to x percent then gets stuck.there support is useless this topic is still not resolved on the boards when i last looked.
