I mainly use a 4231 formation and wanting to find out what folk think is the best role for a lone forward?
I have the two wide players on support and the central att. midfielder on attack.

Always felt a complete forward works best as long as he has all the attributes required. Would think from the attackers you have only Spalvis would really suit the role.
I generally play a 4231 (DM Wide) formation both home and away - usually a controlling setup and home and easy away games and try to counter for most away games.
Full back - automatic
Central defender - defend
Central defender - defend

I have recently tried to add my copy of Football Manager to my brothers steam account (as well as still using it on my own account) but it seems that your product key is only suitable to one account.
Is there any way around this?

Yeah i think its 45% of match day, not too much of a problem early doors but when you get promoted there ends up being very little cash to splash out on and all the while your lining the pockets of your biggest rival.
I had a game where I started at PSV then moved to Roma after 2 seasons and my first buy was Yaya Sanogo for £16million, he was good at the time and proved to be a bargain.
