If I remember correctly, there is an option labelled "Terminate Loan" from a drop down menu in the top right hand corner of the screen. It was on the Overview page in the Transfers and Contracts drop down box.
You can cancel a loan on a vanilla install - ie pre existing in the database. You can't cancel a loan if a fee is paid.

Berwick is associated and registered with the SFA in the same way Wrexham and Cardiff are registered with their neighbours. Qualification for Euro comps is as a Scottish side not English. Cardiff had a similar real world issue when they got to the English FA Cup Final a few years back.
