Ive tried this tactic with in the Championship with a weaker team and it was leaking too many goals. Almost gave up on it until i make one small change. I moved the BBM to a HB position and its a lot more stable for me and still produces high scoring games.

I use Eriksens SI V1 in the conference leagues with the Complete Forward changed to Advanced and F9 was usually a DLF. Won conference leagues fairly easily using mostly non-counteracted players.

Just managed to make the Prem with a Ryman league team I added to Conference South. We have no money and a 4k stadium with 1.5k seats, being upgraded to 3k seats. I'll see how this tactic does with real underdogs.
