I declared interest and applied for the England job straight after winning the treble with Spurs. They gave it to Jans Jansen, I then also applied for the U21 job. I didn't get that either :O it went to John Salako.
Mr L any chance once you have completed the testing on your tactics you could run a small selection of you tactics (say 3 or them, the best, the worst and an average one) again but with a little tweak? I was thinking if you could change the players roles to match that of your tactics we might be...
I think the 4-3-3 with the right set of players could be very good. I have a very versatile team and I had some very good performances with it, just couldnt maintain a consistancy. I see the issue being the types of players you need for the roles, especially good shadow strikers, means for most...
4-3-3 Shadow Ninjas not doing it for me (with fluid in tactics). Conceded 12 in 9 games, last season with 4-5-1 Spin The Wheel I only conceded 19 all year.
Also Mr L, when you test them have have the players "freeze" at perfect conditions, does this mean during the match they do not deteriorate? As surely this would also give the test team an unfair advantage over all opponents.
So with perseverance of your 4-5-1 Spin The Wheel my curse has been broken, and in style too.
Im going to try 4-3-3 Shadow Ninjas for next season.
Thanks Mr L.
So my bad luck continues, after being top pretty much all season I drew game 30 (surprise surprise) away to Swansea and then lost game 36 at Home to Aston Villa to allow Man Utd to pinch top spot from me at the death.
I think I am destined to just be runners up every year.
EDIT: That game...
First off I would just like to say thank you for all the work you put in to making what appears to be some truly amazing tactics (I have only used 4-5-1 Spin the Wheel so far).
While I was having some pretty good success with my own tactics for a while (16/17 2nd F.A. Cup Runner up, 17/18 2nd...
