You can try to get Grimaldo for LB position. Try to look at players that either listed for transfers or loan. You can get pretty good deals plus looking at those that finish in 6 months.

For the forward position, I'd get Nuno Gomes. He did pretty well in my current save with Nottm Forest, scoring more than 20 goals in 30 goals - for a player with 37yo, it's pretty impressive. David Bentley isn't bad as well. I didn't use much him due to Paterson and Abdoun being my assists...

I'd recommend Sassuolo from Italy (Serie A). They just came from Serie B and they have a solid team which you can build into an Europa League team. I will start with them right now, let me know if you have the same challenge as me :)
