tried the v3 2.0 and was playing mostly through the right side and conceding lots of space in the back. Will try the first version now.

Tried the tweaked versio only and finally i could see wingers doing something.
I recommend special focus for good wingers and ofc a playmaker. Inside forwards will score lots of goals if they have good finishing and...
this tactic has really great potential! it would be great if anyone could translate and provide more info regarding the match tweaks, not necessarily OI but d-line and stuff!
I am 2nd with Leeds but it has been very difficult. Had to sell Mccormak because he was upset now I'm playin with Hunt up forward in a high pressing 424

to the OP, try swapping Suarez with Defoe and Giving sandro a support role so he connects with the attacking line. Keep De Rossi more positional since he is getting old.
Good theories but let's see how it translates in game.
So far 2 draws with Leeds and fluid tactics. Very high possession but conceded 8 CCCs against Charlton which is not looking so good. But will try more games. Cheers

yep the revisited one along with the 451 when my other striker was injured.
I Switched quite often it's often a matter of opposition strength and the available players at my disposal but now in 3rd season i have more depth and quality so i use 442rev more often.

I'm gonna try to tweak one of the strikers to come deep and open spaces in the middle of defence so the poacher gets some space and also the target balls. Thoughts?
any ideas how to tweak the 442 revised to make the best out of strikers? i got one top scorer in the CL but less than 20goals in the league where i dominated with only 1 draw.
It seems that there is less havoc in the area as the midfielders don't go into the box so much. On the other hand, the fullbacks seem now to be involved in the attacking game. All this looks more realistic and benefits the strikers :)
