Hiya everyone i would like the sliders explained to me and how to use them effectively for my team, thanks.;)

I am currently playing as Wigan, any ideas of a good tactic that might suit them, not doing well and near relegation only 3 points off it and it's December already.:(

What i would like explained is what's this about notches and sliders, how or what is it to do with, i think it's something with the sliders for the player settings but what's the idea ?:O
