Ok so after reading up a bit more on forums surrounding issue of team talks after update i left it to my assistant both pre match and half time and we won 6-1!

Well, i havent been playing it on this computer for ages, possibly before jan, as i was having trouble with steam....so effectively i believe you are right and steam has proceeded to automatically update.
