ah so a DBC is a compressed database file a txt is a un compressed file?

so are these 2 files the same? as when i select save data editor as....the only option i get to change is the name of the file not its extension

Hi guys when downloading custom databses from here they are in a .dbc format, when i try to make mine i can only save the edits as Save Editor data and this make s a.txt file my question are these the same thing? or how can i make mine a .dbc thanks

when using SI data editor how do i create a .dbm?? thanks

sry for stupid question but when using the editor how can you save the new database only option there is to save editor data and that does is create a text file, the ones you download from here are all .dbm files any help pls
