I went Welbeck retrained as a Left Winger, playing Inside Forward. Worked well when he became natural there. Averages 1 goal per 3 matches. Train him on composure when he is natural at left wing, and he will do well.

No. He doesn't really progress any more... Make do with Vermalaen and look for regens after your first season.

I agree here, I retrained as a right winger for an inside forward, and he scores every other game from that position.
